Ingredients

30 minutes
  • 1/4 kgsmall cut pieces of raw mangoes (about 1 cup)
  • 1/4 cupsalt
  • 1/2 cup kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp fried fenugreek powder
  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    In a bowl, take small cut pieces of peeled raw mangoes.

  2. 2

    Add salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder, fenugreek powder, and asafoetida to the raw mango pieces. Mix well. Keep the mix covered.

  3. 3

    After a gap of one day, mix again and transfer it into an airtight jar. Serve this relish with meals or snacks to enhance the taste. If you like add some tempering with oil and mustard seeds before serving.
