Ingredients

20 minutes
3 to 4 people
  1. 1Dragon Fruit
  2. 1 Cupsoaked Sago
  3. 1/2 cupSugar
  4. 2-3 cupsMilk
  5. 1/2 cupMilk powder
  6. 1/2 cupNuts
  7. 1 teaspoonBeetroot powder

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Take all ingredients together. In a saucepan, add soaked Tapioca with 1 cup of water.Boil for 3-4 minutes until cooked by stiring in-between.

    Drain and pour cold water to remove excess starch from the sago. Keep aside. In a pan, add milk and milk powder. Mix well and bring it to boil on low flame making sure there are no lumps.

    Add sugar and mix it well.

    Now add boiled sago, mix and bring it to boil for 5 to 7 minutes on medium heat. Stir in-between.

    Turn off the flame and keep aside. Now add 1 dragon fruit to blender jar to make puree.

    Add this puree in the prepared Sagoo Milk. Mix it well. Add 1 teaspoon of Beetroot powder.

    Now add seeds or nuts of your choice. Mix it well and it is ready.

    Garnish with some more nuts/seeds of your choice. Refrigrate for 1 to 2 hours and serve chilled. Enjoy!

    Note - Better to prepare it with Pink Dragon Fruit, then you don't need to add beetroot powder.

    It may thicken when refrigrated for long, adjust by adding milk.

    Add beetroot powder by mixing it first in a little amount of water or milk to avoid forming lumps.
