Sugar-Free Sangria
Don’t let sugar stop you from enjoying a nice cold glass of sangria with good company.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
First, choose a large pitcher—at least 1 quart (1 L)—and set it aside.
- 2
Note: These amounts serve 3 or 4 people. If you’re making it for more, double or triple the quantities and use a large pot if needed.
- 3
Prepare the fruit: cut the apple into pieces, and slice the orange and lemon into rounds, then cut the rounds in half.
- 4
Add the fruit and the rest of the ingredients to the pitcher and stir well.
- 5
Add plenty of ice to the pitcher.
- 6
Serve in large glasses or wine goblets. I recommend adding extra ice to each glass, as sangria should be served very cold.
- 7
Enjoy!

Sangria Sangria
I saved some red wine that didn't taste good.My hubby and I are drinkers, and so we add brandy or rum to up the alcohol content. Add some if you'd like! Adjust the amount of honey to taste. The soaked fruits become rather bitter, so they're probably not good to eat. Recipe by Puriman. cookpad.japan -

White Basil Berry Sangria White Basil Berry Sangria
A few notes:For this recipe, you can use the white wine of your choice. It has some great flavors added, so I generally go for the cheapest bottle I can find. You can use white grape juice or apple juice in place of the sparkling cider, but it's always nice to have a bit of fizz.Any variety of apple will do, but gala apples, or even pears, go very well in this recipe.Smash the grapes over the pitcher with your fingers so any juices will be added to the sangria.I use two of ounces brandy for a lighter version, but you can double the amount for something stronger. Try adding an ounce at a time until desired strength is reached. If you don't have brandy on hand, rum is equally as good. Izandro -
Authentic Sangria with Red Wine Authentic Sangria with Red Wine
I wanted to make sangria with additive-free wine and organic fruits.Banana makes sangria cloudy, but also very tasty. If you'd like your sangria to stay transparent, omit it (I tried to wrap banana with parchment paper this time as an experiment). Add mango or papaya (these tend to be a bit expensive, so frozen ones are okay) for a tropical flair. A simple Cabernet Sauvignon would be ideal for this. Basically, though, you can use any kind of wine because you add lots of fruits anyway. Whenever you open a new bottle and you don't like it, try making it into a sangria. This fruit sangria I had at a certain restaurant was really good, so I asked how to make it.It's surprisingly easy to make, yet very delicious. It can cost you around 700 yen per drink at a restaurant. I feel as if I got a great deal.Cheap wine makes this sangria delicious with its light taste.Squeeze out the liquid when removing the soaked fruit pieces. If you don't have any concern for pesticides, soak the citrus fruit without peeling since they will give more fragrance to the sangria. I love pomegranate juice so I modified an American recipe ("Lots of Alcohol - 3 Types of Alcohol") to make it easier to drink.Leave it to rest for a while in the fridge before serving.Modify the fruit and sweetness to taste. If you don't want it to contain too much alcohol, you can dilute with soda water and it'll still be delicious. Seasonal strawberries are cheap now. If I buy a large amount, I make strawberry jam and this spring-themed sangria. Along with the effect of the vodka and pretty color, the sweet fragrance of the strawberry stands out.The peach and strawberry go well together. If you have weak tolerance to alcohol, add apple juice to your preference. Recipe by Hanamaruranchi cookpad.japan -
