Ingredients

  1. Chicken Marinade
  2. 2 lbchicken breast
  3. 1 cupplain Greek yogurt
  4. 1lemon
  5. 1-2 tbspgarlic ginger paste
  6. 2 tspgaram masala
  7. 2 tspcumin
  8. 2 tspchili powder
  9. 1/2 tspturmeric
  10. 1/2 tspcayenne (adjust to spice preference)
  11. Salt, to taste
  12. Sauce
  13. 2 tbspbutter
  14. 1cinnamon stick
  15. 4cloves
  16. 1yellow onion, diced
  17. 1-2 tbspgarlic ginger paste
  18. 2 tspgaram masala
  19. 2 tspcumin
  20. 2 tspcoriander powder
  21. 2 tspchili powder
  22. 1/2 tspcayenne (adjust to spice preference)
  23. Salt, to taste
  24. 1 cupheavy cream
  25. 1 cupcrushed tomatoes
  26. 1 tbsptomato paste
  27. Optional: cilantro for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Season chicken breast with marinade ingredients and let marinate for at least 1hr

  2. 2

    Once chicken is marinated, add olive oil to skillet and cook chicken

  3. 3

    Once chicken is cooked, remove from skillet and add butter to same skillet

  4. 4

    Add cinnamon stick, clove, onion, and garlic ginger paste to skillet

  5. 5

    Once sautéed, add in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste and mix together

  6. 6

    Season with garam masala, cumin, coriander, chili powder, cayenne, and salt

  7. 7

    Once mixed together, add chicken back in and mix into sauce

  8. 8

    Add in heavy cream and mix together

  9. 9

    Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve with rice and naan
