Easy to throw together and infinitely delicious for any time of the year. Add in ice cubes for a refreshing summer snack!
Steps
- 1
Boil however many taro balls you want! I usually do around 1 cup for 2 servings. Go to my other recipe for a full recipe on homemade taro balls, or buy them ready-made!
- 2
Combine milk, tapioca starch, and sugar in a small pot. Mix well and cook on low heat. Keep stirring until a stretchy texture appears (like in the picture above)
- 3
In each serving dish, add 1-1.5 tbsp of brown sugar. Add in hot water and dissolve well. I add around 2/3 cup of water per serving but adjust based on your sweetness preference.
- 4
Simply put everything together! Spoon some mochi milk on top of the brown sugar mixture, and top with taro balls to serve. Optionally add some ice cubes to make this a refreshing summer dessert!
