Steps
- 1
Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package. I used 330 ml of water for 250 g of rice, cook under the lid for 10 minutes, on low heat.
- 2
Prepare the mat and Nori sheets. Cut the cucumber and crab sticks into thin strips. Transfer the Philadelphia into a pastry bag for convenience.
- 3
For the first type of rolls, place half a sheet of Nori on the mat. Spread the rice over the surface, leaving 1 cm free.
- 4
Squeeze out a strip of Philadelphia, add cucumber and crab sticks. Roll up. Carefully cut with a thin, sharp knife, wetting it in cold water.
- 5
For the second type of rolls, place rice on half of the Nori sheet so that 1 cm of rice protrudes from the other side. As for Philadelphia rolls. Gently press down the rice and turn the structure over with the Nori sheet facing up.
- 6
Squeeze out a strip of Philadelphia, add cucumber and crab sticks. Roll up. Cut the roll.
- 7
Decorate it sesame or wasabi. Serve with ginger and soy sauce.
