Ingredients

25 minutes
2 serves/Dinner or breakfast
  • 3/4 bowlleftover khichdi
  • 1 Bowlwheat flour/chapati flour
  • 1finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander
  • 1 tbspchilli garlic ginger paste
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1 tspchilli powder
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tbspcoriander powder
  • 1 tbspsesame seeds
  • 1/2 tspcarrom seeds
  • 1 tbspkasuri methi
  • 1/2 tbspAsafoetida
  • 1 tbsplemon juice
  • 1 tbspoil for moin
  • 1/4 cupwater to knead soft dough
  • Required oil to roast thepla
  • as neededMango pickle
  • 1 cupmasala tea

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Mash the khichdi in a mixing bowl. Add flour and all mentioned spices/ingredients. mix very well and knead soft dough. Make Equal portions.

    Gently Roll the thepla using dry flour. Heat the tawa and roast the thepala with applying oil on it till brown marks appear. Remove it on the kitchen napkin so it doesn't get soggy. Make all theplas.
