Ingredients

Prep time -5 mins, Frying time -5 mins
1 serving
  • 2medium size Karele or Bitter Gourd
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspginger powdrt
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 tspcumin powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 1 tspchaat masala powder
  • 1/8 tspsalt
  • 3-4 Tbspmustard oil
  • Serve with steamed rice or as is

Steps

Prep time -5 mins, Frying time -5 mins
  1. 1

    Wash the Karele or Bitter gourd and peel the skin, cut in roundels

    In a bowl add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala powder, salt and mix well, add the cut Karele and mix well

    In a wok heat oil and add the marinated Karele and fry on medium flame, fry until crispy and flip sides, fry and set aside on a kitchen towel

    Serve with steamed rice or as is and enjoy crispy Bitter Gourd or Kurkure Karele
