Gather ingredients.

Wash daal and rice properly add water and cook in pressure cooker for 3 to 4 whistles. Wash potato and cut it in small pieces.

For batata bhaji take kadhai, heat oil, add raai, let it crackle well, then add asafotida, then turmeric, then add small pieces of potatoes stir well. Put lid and cook on slow flame for five minutes.

When half cooked add salt and sugar, again put lid and cook. When cooked properly add chilli powder, stir and cook for 2 minutes.

Till then see the rice and daal cooked.

Now will make aamti. In pan add oil, after heating add raai, after crackling raail add asafitida then turmeric. Swittch off the flame then add chilli powder, goda masala and water.

Add cooked daal, then kokum, salt and jaggery to it and let it boil well. Add coconut and jeera paste and let it cook, add Coriander leaves.

Now everything is ready. Let's plate it. First take salt, then pickel, rice, batatyachya kachrya and aamti in bowl. Pour ghee on rice. Enjoy the meal hot.
