  1. 1.5 litresdashi stock or water
  2. 8Roma tomatoes, chopped
  3. 3 tbspsoy sauce
  4. 1/2lettuce head, chopped
  5. Garnish
  6. 1 tbspsesame oil
  7. 1/2spring onion, finely sliced
  8. Pinchblack pepper

  1. 1

    Chop the vegetables into bite-size pieces.

    Bring the dashi stock to a boil and add the tomatoes. Let it simmer, covered, for 5-10 mins.

    Once the tomatoes are cooked, mush them up slightly and add the lettuce. Simmer for another 5-10 mins.

    Serve with rice, and garnish with sesame oil, ground black pepper and finely chopped spring onion. Enjoy!
