Cut bitter gourd into round pieces and apply salt and keep aside for 10 minutes. Squeeze all salt water and keep aside

In a pan heat oil and add mustard seeds. Once mustard seed splutter add pinch of asfoetida, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder. Then add bitter gourd pieces. Mix well

Add dry mango powder and salt to taste. Mix and put the lid and cook for 10 minutes or until bitter gourd cooked properly.

Serve Hot as a side dish with Rice
