Wash the begun or eggplant, soak Posto or Poppy seed. Cut the begin into medium size pieces, set aside. Make a paste of Posto in mortar & pestle

In a wok add mustard oil, add cut begun, add poppy seed paste, red chilli powder, slit green chilli, salt, 1/2 cup water, and add more mustard oil, cover and bring to fire, on low flame and cook

Cook covered

Once begun is cooked, drizzle more mustard oil, set aside

Plate with steamed rice
