Ingredients

Prep time -10 mins, Soak Posto -1hr, Cook-15 mins
2 servings
  • 1large Begun or Eggplant
  • 2 TbspPosto or Poppy seed paste
  • 2green chillies slit
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/8 tspsalt
  • 5-6 Tbspmustard oil plus more to drizzle
  • Enjoy with steamed rice

Steps

Prep time -10 mins, Soak Posto -1hr, Cook-15 mins
  1. 1

    Wash the begun or eggplant, soak Posto or Poppy seed. Cut the begin into medium size pieces, set aside. Make a paste of Posto in mortar & pestle

  2. 2

    In a wok add mustard oil, add cut begun, add poppy seed paste, red chilli powder, slit green chilli, salt, 1/2 cup water, and add more mustard oil, cover and bring to fire, on low flame and cook

    Cook covered

    Once begun is cooked, drizzle more mustard oil, set aside
