Steps

Take a mixing bowl, add grated coconut and grated jaggery in it. Combine them well as shown below.

Now take a pan, when it becomes hot add a tbsp of ghee in it. Then add the coconut-jaggery mix in it. Start stirring it. Keep the flame low and cook it well. Cook it for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Then add a tbsp of ghee to it and give it a mix. Now cook for another 5 minutes on a low flame. Finally sprinkle some elaichi powder on it and give it a mix.

When it starts forming lumpy, switch off the flame. Pour this mixture in a cake-tin and spread it evenly with the help of a spatula.

Now apply some silver foil on top of it which is completely optional. Now let it set by keeping it in a room temperature. After it cools down cut them into desired shapes accordingly. Place a nut on top of it for decoration.

Your coconut barfis are now ready to serve. Store them in an air tight container and consume them accordingly.
