Parippu vada - traditional Kerala snacks

Wash and soaked Chana dal for 4-5 hours. After that remove the water and add thr dal into grinding jar, add garlic, red chilli and cumin seeds. Grind coarsely and transfer it in a mixing bowl.

Add chopped onion,green chillies, ginger and curry leaves, add salt and mix well. Take a lemon-sized portion of the mixture and flatten it between your palms. place them into medium hot oil.

Fry all vada on medium to high flame till golden brown. garnish with some fry curry leaves and green chillies. Serve hot.
Tips
Don't add water while grinding otherwise the mixture become sticky and it is difficult to making vada.
