Ingredients

  • 2 cupsmilk
  • 1-2teabags
  • 1 teaspoonpumpkin spice
  • 1/4 teaspoonground clove
  • 1/4 teaspoonground dry ginger
  • 1/8of a teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoonground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoonground cardamom powder
  • 2 teaspoonshoney or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoonspumpkin purée
  • Whipped cream for garnish, optional
  • make the souce blend
  • Add the pumpkin spice, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, dry ginger all together and keep aside. This is you pumpkin spice chai mixture

Steps

10 minutes
  1. 1

    Steep the teabags in hot milk and prepare unsweetened tea. Add this tea to a small pot.

    Next, add the pumpkin puree to the pot.

    Next, add the honey/ maple syrup.

    After that add the pumpkin spice chai mixture.

    Stir and heat on low for 5 minutes, so the rawness of the pumpkin purée goes away and the spices are blended well.

    When the mixture is heated through, pour in a tall glass, add some whipped cream and a sprinkling of cinnamon and enjoy!

Tips

You can also use looseleaf tea and non-dairy milk.
