  • 3 tbspGhee
  • 3 tbspMoong dal atta (moong dal flour)
  • 100 mlMilk
  • 3 tbspSugar
  • 3 tbspMilk masala (homemade, with cashew, almond, pista, saffron, milk powder)

Steps

25 minutes
  1. 1

    Heat ghee in a pan over low flame. Add moong dal atta and roast until golden and fragrant.

    Pour in milk, stirring to avoid lumps. Cook on low flame until the milk is absorbed. Add sugar and mix well.

    Continue to cook on low flame until ghee separates from the halwa. Serve warm.

    Add milk masala and combine thoroughly.

Tips

Feel free to adjust the sweetness or use different nuts in the milk masala for added flavor.
