An amazing innovative take on a popular Kerala dish by me called Thoran. Presenting Knol Khol Thoran for everyday meals for the whole family.
Thoran or Upperi in Northern Kerala is a type of dry dish of Vegetables with Coconut originated in the State of Kerala. This common dish is usually eaten with Rice. Thoran is a traditional South Indian specifically Kerala style dish made with finely chopped or grated Vegetables. It is a popular and a healthy side served with steamed Rice and can be made with a variety of Vegetables.

It is a dry Curry and a staple in Kerala. It is often served with Rice and also Rotis. And is also part of larger feast known as Sadya. It is also known as Upperi in some parts of Kerala.
A simple yet a flavourful and a healthy side that can be enjoyed on any given day. A perfect accompaniment for Rice and Rotis. A great option for everyday meals. It's absolutely refreshing and flavourful as well as healthy and nutritious. A simple yet a wholesome treat for the entire family. A nutrition packed food that's absolutely perfect and delicious for all. The best part is that it is made with a horde of Vegetables full of natural goodness of essential Vitamins and Minerals. Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life.I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
