Ingredients

20 mins
2 -3 people
  1. 250 gmbathua saag, washed, chopped
  2. Ginger, 1 tsp chopped(1/2 inch)
  3. 7 nosGarlic chopped
  4. 2Green chilli , chopped
  5. 1Dried red chilli , broken
  6. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  7. 1/4 tsp Ajwain
  8. 1Tejpatta
  9. 1 tsp Ghee
  10. 1 tbsp Mustard oil
  11. Water as required
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 tsp Rice Flour infused with cup of water
  14. Pinch of hing

Steps

    Heat kadhai add some water, and add washed chopped bathua saag, salt, chopped ginger, chopped garlic and chopped green chilli.

    Let it boil, then turn medium flame and cook for 7-8 mins and turn off the flame.

    Let it cool completely bathua saag, avoid of extra water. Then grind into paste. Now heat a same kadhai, add oil, then add tejpatta, cumin seeds, hing, ajwain and one dried red chilli broken and saute for few seconds until they turn aromatic.

    Now the add ground bathua saag and stir well and cook for 5 mins.

    Now add rice mixing with cup of water.

    Cook for another 8-10 mins on low to medium flame until nicely cooked and thicken texture. Then add ghee.

    Coo for another 1 min, then turn off the flame.
