Steps

Pluck and wash fresh methi leaves. Roughly chopped. Crush ginger and green chilli. Wash chopped green coriander.

Take a Big bowl. Sieve Besan. Add rava and cooking soda.

Mix Besan, rava and cooking soda properly.

Add 1.5 cup of water and whisking continuously for 5 minutes.Rest for 15 minutes.Crush whole dhaniya and black pepper.

Add turmeric powder, black pepper, carom seeds. Add crushed ginger and green chilli. Add asafoetida.

Add salt and sugar. Mix all spices well. Add methi leaves and green coriander.

Add lemon juice. Mix it well. Add 2 tsp hot oil from frying pan.

The final batter should be semi thick.Heat oil in a kadai. Scoop small portion of the batter using fingers and gently push them with thumb.

Fry gota on medium heat. Turning occasionally until they are evenly golden, crisp and cooked through. Remove from the kadai. Place them in a plate. Serve hot with kadhi chutney and fried green chilli.

Enjoy methi gota with kadhi chutney and fried green chilli. You can also enjoy with masala tea.
Tips
To make methi gota crispy on the outside add 2 tsp hot oil from the frying pan.
