Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 150 gGreen peas
  2. 1methi
  3. 100 mlFresh cream
  4. 1small (finely chopped) Onion
  5. 1 tspGinger-garlic paste
  6. 1(finely chopped) Green chili
  7. 10 gCashew nuts
  8. 50 mlMilk
  9. 1 tbspOil or ghee
  10. 1/2 tspCumin seeds
  11. 1/2 tspGaram masala
  12. 1/2 tspSalt
  13. 1/2 tspSugar
  14. 100 mlWater

Steps

    Soak cashew nuts in warm milk for 10 minutes, then blend to a smooth paste.

    Cut to methi

    Heat oil or ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

  4. 4

    Add onion, sauté until translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, cook for 1 minute.

  5. 5

    Add cashew paste, cook for 2 minutes on low heat.

  6. 6

    Add green peas, methi salt, sugar, and water. Cover and cook on low heat for 20 minutes until peas are soft.

    Stir in fresh cream and garam masala. Simmer for 2 minutes.

    Serve hot with roti or rice.

Tips

For a richer flavor, you can use homemade cream and adjust the spices according to your taste.
