Steps

Roast the brinjal and remove its skin. While roasting, keep a piece of garlic and a green chilli in the brinjal.

Have the roasted brinjals chopped and then heat the oil in a pan.

Add jiraa and hing Add onion and garlic paste then add tomato to it and let it cook. After it is cooked add all the spices like red chilli, garam masala, turmeric and coriander powder

Once all this is mixed, add the mashed brinjal and mix.

Your bengan bhartha is ready to serve with rotla
Tips
By roasting the eggplant with oil, the skin will come off easily.
