Ingredients

  • 2large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick)salted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cupslivered almonds
  • 1/2 cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cupcrushed walnuts
  • 1/4 cupflour
  • 1 tablespoonvegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoonalmond extract
  • 1 teaspoonvanilla extract

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a glass baking dish. Set out eggs and butter to reach room temperature. Crush walnuts, set aside.

    In a microwave-safe mixing bowl, melt butter in 15 second bursts until completely melted. Add the sugar and cocoa, whisking vigorously until sugar fully dissolves (about 1 minute).

  3. 3

    Add in the eggs one-at-a-time, whisking between each egg. Add in the vanilla and almond extract, whisking until everything is fully combined (about 1 minute).

  4. 4

    Add in the flour and vegetable oil, stirring until just combined. Add in the almonds and walnuts, stirring until just mixed into the batter.

  5. 5

    Pour into greased baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until the batter no longer jiggles.

    Slice and enjoy your Almond-Walnut Fudge Brownies! 🍫

Same here! To me, a brownie isn't a brownie without nuts, ha-ha. Right? My top three are cashews, walnuts, and almonds. I'll have to add cashews next time seeing as I ran out of them before this batch. I'm glad I could make something people enjoy! (:
