Pancakes for breakfast that you can customize however you like—make them sweet or savory.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Add the remaining ingredients and your choice of sweet or savory toppings. Whisk well. Let the batter rest for 30 minutes.

Heat a well-oiled pancake pan or skillet. Pour in the batter and cook until the tops of the pancakes are almost dry, then flip and cook the other side. Cook over medium heat to avoid burning the pancakes.

Serve warm with maple syrup, granola, jam, chocolate spread, fruit, a fried egg, cheese, or any toppings you like. Perfect for breakfast.
