Spicy Anchovy Pasta

Steps

Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Heat extra virgin olive oil in a pan. Fry dried chili until fragrant, then remove and set aside.

In the same pan, sauté 2 tablespoons chopped shallot and minced garlic until soft.

Add anchovy fillets and cook until they dissolve.

Stir in chili powder and tomato paste, cook for 1 minute.

Add cooked spaghetti and chopped parsley, toss to coat with sauce.
- 7
Plate the pasta, top with fried dried chili and fresh basil leaves, then serve.
