First of all, wash both the dals with waters for 2-3 times.soak them for 4-5 hours. Then drain the water and grind them finely in a mixer. If necessary, take 1/4 cup of water to grind them.

Beat the prepared batter very well and keep it covered for an hour or so.. A nice fluffy texture is prepared. Add ginger-chili paste, salt, cumin seeds and oil to it and prepare the batter.

Prepare curd from 1 liter of milk and keep it to cool. When it cools, add powdered sugar and salt to it and stir. Keep it to cool again.

Heat oil and fry the vadas on low to medium flame. Once all the vadas are fried, soak them in buttermilk. After 15 minutes, press the vadas lightly and remove them.

Take 5 vadas in a plate and add salt, curd, both the chutneys, cumin seeds, salt, chilli powder. Then add fried peanuts, sev, pomegranate and coriander. Colorful dahi vadas are ready to serve
