Clean the fish and pat dry. Make a few slits on both sides.

Rub salt on the fish, place ginger slices inside and on top.

Steam the fish over high heat for 8-10 minutes until cooked.

Remove excess liquid, top with green onion.

Heat oil and pour over the fish.

Drizzle soy sauce on top and serve.
Tips
For extra flavor, you can add a splash of rice wine or sesame oil.
