Garelu is traditionally made with Urad Dal but I made with black eyed peas and it’s given a distinctive flavour. I’ve paired with Natu Kodi Pulusu which is spicy Chicken curry

Soak Black eyed peas for3 hours after a wash. Drain and add to a blender
- 2
Add chopped green chillies, salt, chopped coriander leaves, ginger and blend coarse without adding water

Make balls and give shape of a Garelu
- 4
In a pan heat oil and add the Garelu and fry on medium flame golden - set aside
- 5
Serve with Naatu Kodi Pulusu and enjoy 😊
Tips
Don’t add water to the blender when making a coarse paste
Deep fry the Garelu
