Rinse the moong daal

Soak moong daal with 3cups of water for overnight

Discard the water and grind.dont add much water we need smooth and lump free batter for chillas.

While grinding add salt, green chilly, hing and adrak.Mix very well

Allow the batter to rest for 15min

The consistency of batter has be of pouring consistency,neither too thick nor thin.

Now rotate the batter with the back of spatula giving a round and a even shape like disable.Drizzle few drops of oil around the edges of chilla.

Flip the chillas and cook the other side for a minute.

Once the chillas appear crisp and brown,remove and place aside.

Serve moong daal chillas with tamarind and green chutney
