  2. leavesFew mint
  3. 1/4 tspcumin seeds
  4. 1chopped green chili
  5. 1small piece of ginger chopped
  6. 1/4 tsproasted cumin powder
  7. 1/8 tspblack salt
  8. 1/8 tsprock salt
  9. 1/2 tspghee or oil
  10. 4curry leaves
  11. 4ice cubes
  12. 2 glasseswater

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
  1. 1

    In a blender, combine the mint leaves, ginger, green chili, and yogurt; add a splash of water and blend thoroughly until smooth. Add the 2 glasses of water, followed by the black salt and rock salt.

    Add the 2 glasses of water, followed by the black salt and rock salt. Blend the buttermilk once more to ensure everything is well combined. Pour the mixture into a serving bowl.

    Now, heat the ghee or oil in a small tempering pan (*tadka pan*) and prepare a tempering (*tadka*) using the cumin seeds and curry leaves. Once the tempering has cooled down, pour it into the buttermilk.

    Place the ice cubes into serving glasses. Pour the buttermilk over the ice. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder on top for garnish. Decorate with fresh mint leaves.
