Mix wet ingredients
In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until smooth - 2
Add egg + vanilla
Stir in egg, honey, milk and vanilla until fully combined - 3
Add dry ingredients
Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix just until no dry flour remains. - 4
Fold in chocolate chips
Mix in chocolate chips (don’t overmix). - 5
Chill dough (optional but better)
Refrigerate dough for 10 minutes for thicker, gooey cookies. - 6
Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9–11 minutes. - 7
Cool slightly
Let sit on tray for 5 minutes so centers stay gooey.
