Ingredients

12 minutes
1 cookie per person * makes 7 large cookies*
  1. 3/4 cup (150 g)brown sugar (light or dark)
  2. 1/4 cup (50 g)granulated sugar
  3. 1/2 cup (113 g)butter, melted and cooled (salted or unsalted)
  4. 1large egg
  5. 1 tspvanilla extract
  6. 1 tbspmilk
  7. 1 1/2 cups (190 g)all-purpose flour
  8. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  9. 1/4 tspbaking powder
  10. 1/2 tspcornstarch
  11. 1/3 cup (30 g)unsweetened cocoa powder
  12. 1 cup (110 g)chopped pecans (or any nuts)
  13. 1 cup (50 g)mini marshmallows
  14. 1 cup (170 g)chocolate chips

Steps

12 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix wet ingredients
    In a bowl, mix brown sugar, sugar, melted butter, egg, vanilla, and milk until smooth.

    Add dry ingredients
    Add flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, cornstarch, and cocoa powder. Mix just until combined.

  3. 3

    Add mix-ins
    Fold in pecans, marshmallows, and chocolate chips.

  4. 4

    Chill dough
    Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Bake
    Bake at 350°F (177°C) for 12 minutes.

  6. 6

    Cool slightly
    Let sit on tray a few minutes before moving so marshmallows don’t tear.
