Ingredients

2-serving
  • 1 packetbutton mushrooms
  • 3 - 4 TablespoonsKasuri methi Dried
  • 5 - 6 Podsgarlic
  • 2Onion chopped
  • 1/4 CupMilk
  • 1 Pinchturmeric
  • 1 Tablespooncorriander powder
  • 1 Tablespoonjeera powder
  • 1 Tablespoonblack pepper powder
  • 4 TablespoonsSunflower oil
  • 1 TablespoonChilli powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash the mushrooms and cut them each into two or three pieces.

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a pan and put in the kasuri methi when hot. Fry it till it is light brown. Then add chopped garlic and onions and saute till onions are translucent.

  3. 3

    Add mushrooms and the masala powders and fry till all the water in the mushroom becomes dry.

  4. 4

    Lastly, add the milk and let the mushrooms cook in it till it becomes thick. You can even avoid the milk, if you prefer the mushrooms dry fried.

  5. 5

    You can even use fresh cream instead of milk. I use milk to reduce the fat :D Serve hot.
