Ingredients

  • 1/2 KilogramChicken
  • 1 TeaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoonturmeric powder
  • 1 TeaspoonVinegar
  • Salt
  • 3Onions
  • 2Tomatoes
  • 1 TablespoonGinger Paste
  • 1 TablespoonGarlic Paste
  • 2 1/2 TeaspoonsCoriander Powder
  • 2 TeaspoonsRed Chilli Powder
  • 1 TeaspoonGaram Masala
  • 1/2 TeaspoonFennel powder
  • 1 CupCoconut Milk Thick
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Curry Leaves

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Clean the chicken and marinate with the ingredients listed under "for marination" list and keep in the refrigerator for about 30 mnts

  2. 2

    After 30 mnts take out the chicken and shallow fry in oil till the chicken is almost half cooked

  3. 3

    Remove the chicken pieces from the pan and to the same oil in which the chicken is fried, add the sliced onions and salt and fry till it turns golden brown

  4. 4

    Now add Ginger and garlic paste to the onion and fry for 3-4 mnts

  5. 5

    Now add coriander powder, chilli powder,garam masala, fennel powder and fry till the oil starts appearing

  6. 6

    Now add the tomato and curry leaves and fry till the tomatoes become soft

  7. 7

    Now add the fried chicken pieces and make sure the chicken is coated well with the masala

  8. 8

    Now add coconut milk and cover and cook till the chicken is cooked well.
