  • 1 CupChanna Daal / Kadalai Paruppu
  • 1 TablespoonRice Flour
  • 1Onion (Chopped)
  • 4Green Chillies (Chopped)
  • 1 TeaspoonFennel
  • 2 TablespoonsCoriander Chopped
  • 1Ginger Slice
  • 4 ClovesGarlic
  • 3/4 TeaspoonGaram Masala
  • 1 SprigCurry Leaves
  • To TasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak channa dal for 3 - 4 hours. Drain channa dal completely and grind with ginger, garlic, chillies and fennel coarsely.

  2. 2

    Mix chopped onion, coriander, salt, rice flour and curry leaves in ground mixture.

  3. 3

    Make equal size balls uniformly and tap it to make flat; meanwhile heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry in medium flame and drain in paper towel. Serve with Coconut / Onion Chutney and hot tea.......yummmmm!!!!!
