This is a healthy snack item. Easy and tasty way to include oat (fiber) in your diet.
Steps

Take a pan and add washed moong dal and water

Keep it to boil on medium heat

Boil it until dal tenders a bit and water completely evaporates

Let it cool down for 5 minutes

Drain and blend the dal to coarse paste
- 6
Add all ingredients except oil
- 7
Mix it well and divide mixture in to 12 equal portion

Shape each portion in 2 inch diameter round, as shown below, each portion is called tikki

Heat the non stick tawa on medium heat and grease tawa with 1/2 tsp oil

Put 4 to 5 tikkis depending on the size of your tawa, cook it for about 1 minute

Apply oil on top of the tikki and flip it over
- 12
Press gently and cook it for a minute, tikkis are ready

Repeat step 9 to 12 for all the remaining tikki

Serve hot tikkis with tomato ketch up or green chutney
