Ingredients

5-serving

1 novalakkai
1 cupgram flour
2 - 3 tspsrice flour
to tastesalt
water as needed
1 tspchilli powder
1/2 tspcoriander powder
1/4 tspturmeric powder
2 tspsginger garlic paste
1/2 tsppepper powder
1/2 tspjeera powder
1/4 tspasafoetida
oil for frying

Mix all the ingredients except valakkai

Mix it well till it becomes a fine batter

Heat the oil in pan
4

Now dip the sliced valakkai in the batter and fry it for 5-7 min till it comes to light brown color

Now valakkai bajji is ready

Serve it with tomato sauce/ coconut chutney
