Ingredients

  1. Burger Mix
  2. 1 lblean ground beef, good quality is best
  3. 1/3 cupSmall diced white onion
  4. 1Egg
  5. 1 tspOnion powder
  6. 1 tspGarlic salt Or: to taste, just kidding!
  7. 1/2 tspGarlic powder
  8. 1/4 tspBlack pepper
  9. 1 packagesLarge sesame hamburger buns
  10. 1 tbspButter
  11. 8strips of thick smoked bacon
  12. 1 packagessliced American Cheese. Or: your favorite melty cheese.
  13. 1/2Large White Onion, sliced
  14. 1 tbspOil
  15. 1 tspFlour
  16. 1 pinchGarlic salt
  17. 4leaves of leaf lettuce
  18. 2Avacados sliced
  19. Spicy Burger Sauce
  20. 1/2 cupMayo
  21. 1 1/4 tspSuracha Hot Sauce or to taste
  22. 1 tspfresh lemon juice, 2-3 wedges. Or: lime
  23. 1 tbspSmall diced roasted red bell pepper. Or: fire roasted fresh red bell pepper
  24. 1/4 tspChili powder Or: to taste
  25. 1/4 tspSeasoned salt or to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine all burger mix ingredients with your hands. Mix well and dorm into large round patties, larger than the buns making the center thinner. Chill patties for 10 min.

    Mix together all Burger Sauce ingredients and refrigerate.

  3. 3

    Grill burgers to desired doneness topping each patty with cheese.

  4. 4

    Fry bacon till golden crispy on griddle or skillet. Cool on paper towel

  5. 5

    Optional: Toss onions in flour and garlic salt in plastic bag and fry in oil over hight heat till golden and carmelized.

  6. 6

    Butter the buns lightly and toast on med-high heat on same bacon pan till golden crispy.

  7. 7

    Spread top bun with sauce, then avacado, (keeps from slipping out) bottom bun with burger, bacon, lettuce onion and then top bun and WALLAH! ENJOY!
