Dal Fry
Rich and creamy side dish, suited to have with Rice & Roties
Steps

Mix the two dals together and thoroughly wash.

Cook the washed dals, with chillies, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and 3 cups of water in a pressure cooker. Cook till the dals are tender.

Remove the chillies and whisk the dal till it is smooth.

Saute the mustard seeds, nigella seeds and red chilli in the ghee in a pan. Continue till the onion is translucent

Then add tomatos and continue saute for 4-5 mins

Add the kept aside dal into the pan, mix well and cook till boils.

Serve hot garnished with coriander and butter.
