Ingredients

20 mins
3-portion
  • 1.5 cupssooji
  • 1 cupCurd
  • 1/2 tspchilly red powder
  • 1 tspsalt for idli batter
  • 1 tspEno salt fruit
  • 1 tspveggies for
  • 1capsicum medium sliced
  • 2carrots medium grated
  • 2 tspsmasala sambhar powder
  • 6 - 7curry leaves
  • 1chilly green sliced
  • 1 tbspcooking oil
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 3/4 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix sooji, curd, water, chilly powder and salt to make idli batter and let it sit for 15 mins

  2. 2

    Add eno salt and water if needed. The batter should be of medium consistency

  3. 3

    Grease idli moulds and put the batter. Steam for 12 mins.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and green chilly. Add veggies, sambhar powder and salt and sautee at medium flame for 5 mins.

  5. 5

    Remove idlis and cut them into half/quarter pieces. Put them in the kadhai and mix properly.

  6. 6

    Serve with coconut chutney
