Cut fish, clean it and keep in a bowl

Chop onion, tomato, ginger, garlic in small pieces

Slit three green chillies length wise and cut into two.

Heat oil in a pan and put mustard seeds. when it pops, add onion and saute it until raw smell disappears.

Add curry leaves,green chillies, garlic and ginger step by step and saute in low flame.

When the ingredients turn light brown, add tomato pieces and saute it until it becomes reddish brown.

Add 1 table spoon Kashmiri chill powder, 2 tea spoon fish masala, 1 tea spoon turmeric powder and 1 tea spoon fenugreek powder and pepper powder.

After a few seconds, add 1 cup water and adequate salt. mix it well so that it turns into thick gravy.

Pour two and a half cups of water and two-three pieces of coccum (kudampulli). Allow it to boil.

Put fish pieces into the pan and close it with a lid. wait till the fish cooks for 7-8 minutes. If you want fish curry with thick gravy, just take it from the flame.

Add two and a half cups of thick coconut milk into the fish curry and lower the flame. Put off the flame before it boils. Now a tasty fish curry in coconut milk is ready!
