Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1 cupwhole wheat flour
  2. 1 tbspDesi ghee, for shallow frying
  3. For stuffing
  4. 50 gramsMawa/ Khoya, crumbled
  5. 50 gramspaneer crumbled
  6. 5Cashews, finely chopped
  7. 5pistachios finely chopped
  8. 5almonds finely chopped
  9. 1 tspcoriander leaves chopped
  10. 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  11. 2 tspfine sugar
  12. 2 pinchessaffron strands

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly Knead a firm and soft dough with wheat flour and enough water and keep aside.

  2. 2

    Combine all ingredients of stuffing together in one bowl.

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into 4 equal portions.

  4. 4

    Roll out the each portion into round big chapati.

  5. 5

    Place 2 tbsp. stuffing and seal the edges carefully to make a round ball.

  6. 6

    Flatten it and roll out again in round shape.

  7. 7

    Heat the griddle or tawa on medium flame, drizzle half tsp of ghee and place the paratha on tawa.

  8. 8

    Cook on a tawa on both the sides using desi ghee until it is golden and crispy.

  9. 9

    Repeat the same procedure with remaining dough to prepare all parathas.

  10. 10

    Serve shahi mawa paneer paratha hot with kheer or rabri.
