Ingredients

45 minutes
5 servings
  • 4 cupsrice
  • 2medium size carrot and 1 small cabbage
  • 1/2 kgchopped liver
  • 1-1/2 cupschopped green beans
  • peas(optional)
  • 2 cupsgroundnut oil
  • curry and thyme(use as desired)
  • maggi(seanoning)
  • 1big onion
  • to tastesalt and pepper
  • 1medium chicken(fried and peppered)

Steps

45 minutes
  1. 1

    Season diced vegetables with salt seasoning cubes and pepper. set aside

  2. 2

    Put a large pot on medium heat.Heat up one part of oil and add in onion, and bay leaves if you wish.

  3. 3

    Add in part of curry, thyme 1 seasoning cube and 1 tea spoon of salt stir and add in 4 cups of water.

    Cover the pot, set heat to high and let the mixture boil. when the mixture boils, reduce heat, add the rice ie after washing it and stir

  5. 5

    Cover the pot tight and leave to cook for about 20 minutes. open the pot and set the rice

  6. 6

    Open the pot and set the rice out. Put another pot on medium heat, add in some oil and heat up slightly.

  7. 7

    Add in the diced vegetables and seasoning cubes. stir fry for about 3 minutes. Combine the rice and vegetables stir till it is well incorporated. Taste for salt and seasoning to know if its okay or there's need to add.

  8. 8

    Ready to be served with your peppered chicken.
