Cut the kunafa dough into small pieces using scissors, then rub it with melted ghee.

Use a springform pan (like the kind for cheesecake) or a regular baking pan.

Spread a layer of kunafa dough in the pan and press it down lightly.

Spread Nutella over the dough, making sure not to reach the edges so it doesn't burn.

Add the second layer of kunafa dough, press it down, and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (180°C) for about 10 minutes or until golden.

To make the syrup, combine the sugar and water. Once it boils, add a few drops of lemon juice and remove from heat. Don't let it boil too long; the syrup should be light.

Pour the syrup over the kunafa and decorate as desired.
