Yellow Lentil Soup with Cream and Chicken

Soak the lentils for 1 hour, then rinse well. Cover with water in a pot, add the onion, tomato, garlic, and carrot. Cook over medium heat until the lentils are tender. Once cooked, blend the mixture until smooth.

Heat a nonstick skillet with olive oil. Add the chicken cubes and sauté with a little black pepper, mixed spices, a pinch of cumin, and salt. Cook until the chicken releases its juices and is fully cooked through.

Return the blended lentil mixture to the pot and thin it with water until it reaches a soup-like consistency. Stir in the cooking cream and sautéed chicken. Mix well and let it simmer for a few minutes. Season with salt, black pepper, cumin, and mixed spices to taste. Serve hot and enjoy!
