The taste is so delicious, if u don't like very spicy is not necessary adding chili padi but you can add more pepper and the taste is still delicious. I cooked ayam rica rica for my friends and I don't used chili and they really love it and is not so spicy for them. Always try before say NO😊😊😊

Ingredients

2 servings
  • 6 piecesHalf chicken, cleaned and cut into 6 pieces
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • 1/2lemon, squeezed and take the juice
  • 250 mlwater
  • 2 cmginger, slightly bruished
  • 1 stalklemongrass, take the white part,slightly bruished
  • 3kaffir lime leaves
  • 1/2 tspsalt, mixed with 2 tbsp of water
  • 2medium-size tomatoes, peeled and cut into small pieces
  • 3chili padi
  • 1/2 tspsalt
  • 3shallots
  • 1 tspground black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate the chicken with lime juice and salt water. Let stand for 10 minutes then set aside

    Crushed all together chilli padi,salt,shallots and ground black pepper

  3. 3

    Heat oil on a pan,stir-fry the ingredient that has been crushed very well.
    Stir-fry until fragrant then add the ginger, lemongrass and kaffir lim leaves.

    Then add the tomatoes, chicken and water. Stir well and simmer until the water is dry up.
