Always cooked pilau with beef...was feeling brave and daring. The intention was biriani bit somewhere along the way it turned out different. Still edible though.

Clean the rice and add to 4 cups of boiling water. Let cook till almost done

Fry the chicken pieces with some onions and tomatoes...I like doing this butchery style by adding everything into pot at the same time. Add salt to taste

When chicke is cooked add the rice and mix. Add some water and salt to taste and let simmer for a while until rice is ready.

In a separate pan sautee the onions, tomatoes and garlic.

Add pre boiled peas and broccoli cut in pieces. Mix and let cook for about 7 minutes..season with salt or other cordiments as desired

Total cooking time is about 50 minutes.
