I'm celebrating! What you ask?!There are so many reasons... Where do I start?! The weekend gone by was really special in many ways. It's been a year since I've been on a low sugar diet. Except for straying from the diet paste couple of months(...blame it on the mango season), followed very religiously and the results have been rewarding. It was a cousin's first wedding anniversary. My best wishes to the happy couple. 💕 Yeah, the same guy during whose wedding, I ate so many desserts that I decided to quit sugar from the very next day! That was the best decision I made in terms of dieting.I crossed a milestone on my blog ... 50 blogs in a span of less than three months. Not that I was keeping a count... WordPress tells me so. Best of all, it was my sister's birthday. The best big sister one could ask for! We have so many memories together and one of those happens to be making these super duper delicious, quick and no cook putani hittina laddus (roasted split gram laddus) whenever we craved for something sweet..Roasted Chana Dal is also called as daria dal, roasted split gram, puffed gram, phutana, pappulu / putanalu pappulu in telugu, putani / hurigadale in kannada. Roasted gram is rich in manganese, folate, protein, dietary fiber, copper, phosphorous and iron..Follow me onInstagram- @TheRedPlateChroniclesFacebook - TheRedPlateChroniclesWordPress - http://theredplatechronicles.home.blog The Red Plate Chronicles -
