Ingredients

  1. 2 cupsalmonds
  2. 2 cupscashew nuts
  3. 2 cupswalnuts
  4. 2 cupspecans
  5. 1 cuppistachios
  6. 4 cupsdeseeded dates
  7. 1/2 cuppowdered jaggery
  8. 1/2 cupedible gum
  9. 1/2 cuppoppy seeds
  10. 1/2 cupghee
  11. 1/2 teaspoonCardamom powder
  12. 1/2 teaspoonNutmeg powder

Cooking Instructions

    Dry roast each nut quantity separately for 5 to 7min on medium flame.

    Roast poppy seeds for one minute.

  3. 3

    Heat ghee and fry edible gum in two batches nicely.

  4. 4

    Then fry dates using ghee till soft. Put off the gas. Add jaggery and mix well.

  5. 5

    When the roasted nuts coo down, grind roasted nuts in food processor, coarsely. Remove in a bowl.

    Grind dates in food processor.

  7. 7

    Again grind nuts and-dates together to mix it well.

  8. 8

    Take out mixture in a big bowl; add fried gum, roasted poppy seeds, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.

    Mix all ingredients nicely with hands. Form into balls like ladoos.

  10. 10

    Enjoy these delicious laddoos. The shelf life is 15 to 20 days.
