Ingredients

13 Minutes
  • 1 cupunsalted butter (250 grams) or margarine
  • 1 1/4 cupspowdered sugar (150 grams)
  • 2 teaspoonsvanilla extract
  • 1 pinchsalt
  • 3 tablespoonshoney (60 grams)
  • 3eggs
  • 1/4 cuporange juice (about 2 fluid ounces or 60 ml)
  • 4 cupsself-rising flour (500 grams)
  • 2-3 tablespoonscocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cupschocolate chips (250 grams)
  • Parchment paper for baking

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat the butter and powdered sugar together until creamy.

  2. 2

    Gradually add the salt, vanilla, orange juice, and honey.

  3. 3

    Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

  4. 4

    Gently fold in the flour until just combined.

  5. 5

    Stir in the chocolate chips at the end.

  6. 6

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a spoon to drop small amounts of dough onto the sheet (the shapes may look irregular, but they will spread and even out as they bake).

  7. 7

    Bake with convection for 10 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
