Sauté the onion in a pot and then add the mushed tomatoes, the parsley, the pepper, the salt and pepper and let it boil over strong heat until the tomato absorbs all its liquids.

Then, add the boiling water and the rice.

Turn down the heat, stir and let it boil until the rice is cooked, then remove from heat.

The food then, needs some time to get mushy and become a thick soup, about half an hour and it is ready to serve.
